Link Aadhaar with NPS Account Online (For Old subscribers of NPS)

If you are a new subscriber to NPS, then to link your Aadhaar card with your NPS account online, use the following steps: 

Step 1: To visit the official website of the National Record-Keeping Agency, click on this link: www.cra-nsdl.com. 

Step 2: In the “Subscriber” section, enter your PRAN number and Password. Enter the Captcha code on your screen and click the “Submit” button. 

Step 3: In the “Demographic Changes” section, click the “Update Personal Details” button. 

Step 4: On the “Subscriber Modification page,” select the “Aadhaar Update or seed request for PRAN” and click on the “Continue” button.

Step 5: On the “Subscriber Modification page,” enter your Aadhaar number. Re-enter your Aadhaar number and click the “Generate OTP” button.

Step 6: Read the undertaking thoroughly, select the checkbox and click the “Proceed” button.

Step 7: You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number. Enter that OTP and click on the “Continue” button.

Step 8: On the next page, a pop-up will appear showing “Your Aadhaar seeding request is pending for verification.” Click on the “OK” button. 

Step 9: An acknowledgment number will appear on your screen. Note this acknowledgment number for further use. 

Step 10: You will get a confirmation message for your Aadhaar and NPS Link once UIDAI completes the verification. 

How to link Aadhaar with NPS account online/Aadhaar link with NPS account online (For New subscribers of NPS)

If you are a new subscriber to NPS, then you can easily link your Aadhaar card with your NPS account online at the time of opening your NPS account by using the following steps: 

Step 1: To visit the official portal of NSDL e-NPS, click on this link: https://enps.nsdl.com/eNPS/NationalPensionSystem.html. 

Step 2: Click on the “National Pension Scheme” button. 

Step 3: Then click on the “Registration” button. 

Step 4: Select the “Aadhaar” option and enter all the required details, including your Aadhaar number. Then click on the “Generate OTP” button. 

Step 5: You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number.. Select the check box and click the “Proceed” button. 

Step 6: Enter the OTP and click the “Continue” button. 

Step 7: Enter the required details in the NPS registration form and pay by choosing an online payment gateway. 

Step 8: An acknowledgment number will appear on your screen. Note this number for further use. 

Step 9: Enter your registration details and click the “Submit” button to generate a PRAN number. Once your verification is complete, a 12-digit PRAN will be allotted to you.

Step 10: You will receive your PRAN number via registered email and an SMS on your registered mobile number. 

Step 11:  Complete e-sign or OTP-based confirmation to avoid physical submission of the registration form, and the process is complete.
