Step 1: Visit the Google Play Store for Android and the App Store for iPhone.

Step 2: Type “mAadhaar” in the search bar and click the search button. When the app appears, click on the “Install” button, and the app will be installed on your phone.

Step 3: Give the required permissions to operate the app on your phone. Then, select the preferred language.

Step 4: Fill your registered number in the space given. Click on the “Register” button.

Step 5: You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number. Fill that OTP in the space given and click the “Submit” button.

Step 6: Set a 4-digit numeric password. This password must be entered whenever you want to open the app. This password protects your Aadhaar data from any unauthorised access.

Step 7: In the “All Services” section, click “Verify Aadhaar”. Scan the QR Code of the Aadhaar card you want to verify and then click the “Verify” button. 

Step 8: If the Aadhaar card is valid, then the Virtual Aadhaar card will be shown on your screen. But if the Aadhaar card is not valid, no virtual Aadhaar card will appear after scanning.

This Aadhaar card is valid and can be used for any purpose.
